Unfortunately in our facility we do not have a written policy in regards to a pt being admitted with an exsisting PICC line.
Nurses use these lines without knowing exactly where the tip is. Before I re-invent the wheel I was wondering if anyone has a policy that I can view?

Here is our policy. I think I attached it correctly. It is not actually in effect yet, but we are making progress, and most of the nurses do it regaurdless, since they saw how many problems we started catching.
