What is your opinion measuring CVP thru Power PICC SOLO catheters with optimal tip positions and a patent lumens. The waveform is often lower in amplitude but is the pressure accurate?
I know there is a adapter out there. Its not available i Sweden. My Bard rep. claims the cvp is accurate. Im doubtful. Its ok, maybe, if you follow the cvp trend.
No, the integral valve built into the catheter hub would prohibit the pressure measurement. Lynn

Bard makes an adaptor that bypasses the valve in order to get accurate waveforms. Contact you rep for more details.
