What type of non latex tourniquet do you use that distends really well?

I found a new tourniquet that medline put in a substitute tray that worked much better than a typical tourniquet. It was folded in 2 inch sections and secured by a ruber band in the pack. It is stronger so it makes a tighter tourniquet but it also is easy on fragile skin due to the soft material. For years the non-latex tourniquets have been so poor at vein distention that I have almost exclusively used a BP cuff at 60 for starts. Does anyone else know of a tourniquet type that really works well? I want to increase our floor nurse success rates by having a good tourniquet. Is anyone using a white one made by cardinal health and if so, how is it?

Currently, I recommended in our hospital, BD stretch tourniquet. Its non-latex and single use tourniquet. For cannulation to have success rate of insertion you must use BD autogard I.V. catheter.  It has feature in which it will give you high success rate. They call it 2nd notch in the needle of the catheter itself.  Just search in the google the BD autogard.  Or contact the nearest representative in your place. BD catheters have good catheter materials also which is a VIALON made. This material will also lessen the chance of Infiltration and Phlebitis. All of these we are using in our hospital by our I.V. team. Goodluck
