For those of you that monitor iv-therapy.net and are planning on attending the Virginia Hospital and Healthcare Association On the CUSP: Stop BSI midcourse meeting in Richmond, Virginia on Wednesday March 30th I would like to meet and discuss some vascular access issues that are specific to our state e.g. Nurse obtained Informed Consent, Bedside IJ CVC placement by nurses,patient education requirements prior to line insertion and the concept of the 2 person PICC insertion team (related to completion of a checklist).
