Suggestions for an additional ultrasound that is lightweight and portable for u/s guided PIVs. We loved our Sonosite ilook and currently have a NanomaXX but do not have the budget to purchase another one.
Any recommendations for something small, portable, good resolution under $15,000, ideally under $10,000.?
We have been using the ultrasound prevue from Bard. Its portable, light weight, with a good picture.

also like the Prevue. Honestly though, we are just a few weeks away from convention in Dallas where the vendors will be happy to demonstrate and allow you to try out their devices. There might be something new, we will see!

I understand that AVA will have many to try out but our hospital wants to start the capital budget process early (as in August). That's why I am asking.
Just know that you get what you pay for in the technology and clairity with the preview.
