Has anyone heard of the recall on TRIAD alcohol, pads and swabsticks. What are people doing with their current kits to provide non contaminated alcohol?
Personally, I think all the stock should be removed and replaced immediately. I have suggested that the kits be returned to the manufacturer for a refund. A memo has gone out hospital wide informing everyone of the recall. Currently we are removing and discarding the prep pads that are in our central line kits. Fortunately this is their only product in the kit. We shall see what happens.
