Is someone able to clarify the latest Standard for the amount of TPA to be instilled into a clotted CVC lumen? I see that the Cathflo manufacturer states 2ml for patients over 30kg and 110% of internal lumen volume for patients under 30kg. Does this mean that you don't accomodate for trimmed catheters in the adult patient? Whereas at one time, we instilled the lumen volume plus 0.2ml, now we are ok to give the entire 2ml rountinely?
