I am presently running a PICC insertion service in Orlando; we use MST and U/SÂ for all our insertions. In the pat, we've been using standing orders and placing them in the chart. My question is whether this practice is necessary, or do we just place the line and let the facility worry about care and maintenance? Thank you in advance for theis onformation.
