Hi, is there any standards stating how far in advance IVF can be spiked before it needs to be used.

Yes, the standard is immediately belore it is hung. There is no time before you plan to use it that t is safe to have a spiked bag handing around. USP <797> is the resource, which is a federal regulation with the force of law.
