I have two nurses who have used the micromax. They really liked it. However, its capabilitites are much more than what we use them for, and the price is twice that of the 180 plus. If only using for PICC placement, the micromax is overkill so to speak. If you plan to do a lot more than that, or if others will be using it for other procedures, it would definitely be the one to get. The Sonosite that falls between the two is the Titan. You might check into that one as well.
