Our hospital will be purchasing some smartpumps in 2009. I haven't had any experience with a smartpump yet. I am on the committe that will be helping to make the decision as to which pump we will buy. We will be looking at Smith-Medical, Hospira, and Alaris.
What questions would you recommend asking? What particular features should we be looking for?Â
Does anyone out there have experience with one of these brands, and if so, please tell me of the positives and negatives. We will be doing a "pump fair" in a few months, an dthen trial at least one of the brands.Â
