I am writing to request assistance with locating a vascular access specialist in the Cleveland/Akron area. I would like to request an opportunity to shadow with a Vascular Access Nurse (CRNI or VA-BC) who would be willing to allow me to observe him/her at work in order to fulfill degree requirements for the RN-to-BSN degree that I am seeking through Ohio University. I have developed this practicum with the assistance of my professor Terri Hood-Brown, RN, MSN ([email protected]) as part of the NRSE490 Self-Study 3 credit hour course. This practicum would consist of 48-54 hours over the next 10 weeks and would need to start immediately.
