Does anyone have any information for promoting the CRNI in our facilities. We have 6 home care facilities with 2 home infusion pharmacies. I am presently the only CRNI. I do all of the infusion therapy education, procedures, etc. There is interest from the administration in promoting the infusion nursing position. Presently, we have several nurses that are very good at what they do, but no specialists. I am looking for a way to get some sort of infusion team across the markets and we can provide the best quality and safest care to the patients. Does anyone have any suggestions, tips, processes? I know the INS has information for starting an infusion team in acute care. Is there anything for home care?
