Can anyone give references to building the case for a much needed Outpatient PICC program. I'm thinking of the importance of not having a patient wait days before an antibiotic regimen can be started b/c of poor access and inability to get a PICC in before the weekend or 4-5 days because of a very busy IR schedule.
