With the backorder and limited availability of NS from all manufacturers, we are now running into the problem of admixing Vancomycin doses. The solution has been to admix in D5 (and now there seems to be limited 250mL D5).
Is anyone else dealing with this issue, and how are you supporting doses that require 250-500mL NS ?
