We are in the process of trying to develop a non-chemo veiscant or irritant policy in which there would be an automatic order for a PICC. In trying to get this through the medical staff, it would be more effective if we had a similar policy and procedure from a different health care organization. If anyone has a policy or procedure that could help us out please email it to me. Thanks
I'd be interested in the answer to this question. We would also like
to have a policy(and a memo from pharmacy on the med bag)saying
a central line is strongly suggested for admin of this(vesicant)drug.
Anyone out there have such a policy?
