New page added: pH & osmol list of irritant meds. Previously from IVaccess.com, list of irritant and vesicant medications with pH and osmol listed.
Note: all data from pharmaceutical references. Osmolarities vary depending on local pharmacy mix. Many variables exist when evaluating infusion of a medication and the catheter tip position that should be utilized.

Thanks kevin. I kept this bookmarked for quick reference as a part of my decision process.

I recommend you add credibility by adding a list of your references to the bottom. Also, for osmolarity, you use include the type and volume of diluent or if those with osmolarty listed is from the manufacturer in a premixed manner.

I am still working on pulling data from the old site... I am doing this by hand to input in the new site. I do have references and many notes that were in the "info" tabs on the old site... they usually included type and volume of mix. I was going to put all of this in one pdf at the bottom of the page. I also thought about putting the osml only in there and not in the main list. Most users are not looking for that anyway. It is typically easier to discover in the hospital setting than ph.

Great. Thanks. I would encourage everyone to assess all infusate characteristics which includes osmolarity, pH, vesicant nature, amount and type of diluent, compatibility, etc.
