Thank you Lynn that is where I was leaning towards. My Bard rep who is educating my staff nurses was teaching us not to change it due to blood exposure. But it did not make sense to me not to change it since we cannot change the bonded Microclave on the extension. And the standards clearly define the extension as an ADD ON. We are only going to change weekly with the dressing.
