Hi everyone. I'm posting this question again since no one actually answered it. Thanks to Miss Lee for sharing her thoughts. You are right. We shouldn't make heparin flushes as a standard PIV flush. We have had cases were our patients suddenly develop HITs. Anyone can share their thoughts on this. Thanks.
