The physicians at my hospital are covering the entire site under the dressing of Jugular and Subclavian lines they insert with mastisol (including the insertion site and any external catheter length) to try to maintain an occlusive dressing. I have never heard of this recommended or done - is this an issue, OK? Why? Thanks.....Jane
