Our IV Team has been asked to place jugular lines as part of the Fistula First program to preserve the veins in the arms and subclavians for dialysis purposes on patients at risk for CRF. We are in the process of developing a program and would love to see some policies and or any information that anyone has to share, if your facility has adopted this practice.
