For those of you who use a single syringe technique (not the stopcock method) for instilliing Cathflo in complete occlusions, do you only use negative pressure and allow the plunger to return to neutral position or do you use a gentle push-pull technique? I've seen both policies but am concerned about catheter rupture/clot embolism with the latter.
If you use the negative pressure, do you repeat this pull and release several times?
