We are looking at purchasing new pole-mounted infusion pumps for our long-term nursing facilities and was hoping to get some input from anyone as to what pumps are reliable (and sturdy). We currently use 2 different pumps; one is very reliable but the nurses hate them and the other pump is not holding up and is not accurate so we need to get rid of them. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

We have been having problems with certain IVIG brands foaming in the tubing or our FloGard 6201s. The manufacturer can not resolve it. Different tubing and tons of ideas including shifting moon phases (that part is a joke of course) have failed to fix it. So unless you like foam and alarms, I would not recommend this pump if you give IVIG.
