I manage a small outpatient infusion clinic that is an off-site satellite to an acute care community hospital. The financial people are beginning a push for us to do the outpatient transfusion therapies. I looked into this a couple of years back and it was decided that it was not such a good idea.
Anybody involved with such a clinic? I would appreciate some insight into potential issues. I was pretty thorough in my research last time this came up, but I want to make sure I don't forget anything. I know it can be done - I just want to make sure it's done right.
