I have a couple questions I would like to see what you folks have experienced. We (normally) use the Accuflo elastomeric for some of our home infusions. Particularly Vanco. Its been a while, but the Accuflo's went on back-order d/t shortage. We were switched to AccuRx by Braun. We just in the past 2 weeks have started having issues with the elastomeric leaking. When we examined a batch, the leaks weren't consistently in the same place on the ball. Also, it is just a random 1 or 2, but enough to mess with our deliveries. My first question....has anyone else encountered this problem with this particular elastomeric? The company is very helpful and will refund, but I'm wondering if it is a lot # issue with us or if it is global.
2nd question.... what product of elastomerics are you using? The Accuflo is still on backorder, and we are planning to order the Eclipse while we wait on the Accuflo, but I heard that the Eclipse may also be on backorder....???
