I was recently chosen to receive a scholarship to sit for the CRNI exam. I will be receiving my study materials through the mail soon. I was wondering if anyone who has taken the exam has any suggestions for me. The study materials I will receive are those from the INS website. Are there any other study items that you would suggest to aid in my studying? I want to succeed and to do the very best I can. I want to have the best knowledge base I can before I sit for the exam. Any suggestions are much appreciated.
Thanks
You will need to have, read, study, and know the INS standards of practice, backwards and forward. All answers should be based on the content of that document and not what policies and procedures you have in your facility.
You should also have the INS textbook to read and study from. I am not sure what study materials you have ordered but if it did not include the standards and the textbook, you must add these to your materials. I wish you great success!!

Hi,
Are speaking of the text book titled Infusion Therapy in Clinical Practice 2001?

Yes, that will be a major source of many questions.

Lynn,
Thank your for your reply. The INCC is sending me the Infusion Nursing Standards of Practice, Infusion Therapy in Clinical Practice, Core Curriculum for Infusion Nursing, 3rd edition,CRNI Review CD Rom and the CRNI Exam Preparation Guide. These items are being sent as part of the scholarship. If you can think of anything else I should need I will gladly find it and get it. Thank you for the well wishes. I am very excited and nervous too.
