I know that catheter care and maintenance is of utmost importance in the prevention of a CLABSI regardless of how many lumens you have, but I am curious if anyone knows the statistics or pecentage increase in a risk of CLABSI for each additional lumen. I thought I had read somewhere that each additional lumen poses about a 10% higher risk of infection, but I can't confirm that. thank you for your responses.
