Are  home infusion companies administering chemo vesicants such as Adriamycin, vincristine or doxorubicin or others in the home care setting? Which ones? How are you dealing with checking frequently for a brisk blood return?Â
Our agency encourages taping the connections for all chemos, however INS and ONS state to not do this. The nurses have had an occasional line disconnect even though we use luer devices on all patients. How are you dealing with not taping and preventing accidental disconnections? Thank you, Marcia
