Are there any facilities that currently use a cap change kit when performing cap changes on CVCs. At UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital, we are considering using a cap change kit to minimize the amount of individual supplies the nurse would have to gather and place on sterile field when changing a cap. We are reviewing contents and cost of an individual kit. What are some of the supplies in the kit if you have one at your facility? Any ideas are appreciated. Kathy Ho, RN
