What is the best source/article for determining how much blood one can draw in 24 hours based on weight for pediatrics and older?

Don't remember seeing that information when I did the lit search on phlebotomy for the INS Standards. Also, we did not include that in the textbook we just wrote. Peds chapter was written by a peds nurse from CHOP. There is info about blood volume in diffeent age/weight groups and then you can calculate the amount of the total you are removing for blood samples. What about using the mixing method instead of the discard method if you are talking about drawing from a CVAD? Lynn
