could someone direct me to any articles that relate to blood wasting. Hospital is currently looking at a putting into place a procedure that would eliminate blood waste. Talking about how they conserve in ped. pts by pulling back 10mls, reinserting, times 3 and then attaining blood for sample. Any research done on adults? We currently are suppose to use the stopcock method, which it not inforced.
