I have a question for those of you who might work in PA in outpatient oncology infusion rooms.  We are wondering how much of an assessment do you do or are you required to do on patients receiving chemotherapy. Do you listen to their lungs and heart.  We routinely do VS and frequently depending on treatment. We ask the usual chemotherapy assessment questions such as fatique, diarrhea, constipation, appetite, nausea/vomiting, mouth sores.  But are we required to always assess lungs?
Thanks in advance,
