Isn't it odd for an art line to be left in place long enough to require a dressing change? A PA catheter usually is only in for 36 to 48 her then exchanged for a regular CVAD. A peripheral art line in for multiple days should be unusual also, making dressing change unnecessary. All VADs should be removed immediately when no longer clinically indicated. In those unusual incidences when the dwell is for long periods, the dressing change frequency would be the same as other peripheral and central lines. Lynn
