I am looking for information from the actual clinicians who may these products: the spectrum turboject and the quint lumen antimicrobial catheters. What are your thoughts, problems, successess etc regarding these catheters. Do you feel they are beneficial in critical care units where the most CRBSI's occur? How long is the antimicrobial property beneficial once inside the body? What about allergies or skin sensitivites to this product? Would you recommend - why or why not? Are there any other picc products out there that have antimicrobial properties. Thanks all.
