allergic reaction
Have a 29yo with hyperemesis gravidarum (3rd preg like this, each requiring fluids to time of delivery) needing 2 liters of hydration daily.  She started to have a local reaction at her PICC dressing site, due to the Chloraprep.  Unfortunately this started a trend and she has reacted to all dressings, so had a tunneled cath placed 10 days ago.  She was skin tested to the catheter material prior to insertion, however now starting a general reaction again.  Anyone have any ideas?  She had an NG but couldn't keep it down.  She is fearful that she would react to a PEG tube at this point.
