I would like to hear from hospitals using the alcohol caps that are placed on the injection ports after each use ready for the next user. I am very much in favor of them for use in all central lines. The financial powers that be in my hospital are not, however. Who is using them and what do you think? Our hospital has a very low CLABSI incidence. Some say we don't need it, I say I want to keep it that way.
