Finding malpos in later non-line xrays

Does anyone have a system of communication with radiology to notify you if a PICC line is noted malpositioned in a later film (a film ordered for diagnostic reasons, not line placement)?

We usually find out only by chance, or cath is problematic (sluggish, repeat occlusions with other issues ruled out).

Thanks,

The solution we had was to
The solution we had was to talk to the chief of radiology and then believe it or not we posted a memo in the rad dept requesting that they call us with this info and it worked. We also routinely scan the ICU pts daily CXR especially those on ventilators or those with excessive coughing or vomiting

The patient care nurses at our hospital are required to check the latest x-ray reports when a patient has a central line...or the rad. calls the floor with the result if there is a malposition.  The nurse then calls us.
