I have finally finished a very large project - the development of an online course - Infiltration and Extravasation from Vascular Access Devices. Perhaps I have reviewed too many medical records from lawsuits involving these complications, but I think all nurses need a greater understanding of this topic.

I am looking for 10 nurses to volunteer to take the course and provide detailed comments and feedback about the course. The volunteers chosen will be expected to keep close track of the time invested in this course so we can calculate the number of contact hours for this course. After you have finished the course and taken the post-test, you will receive an evaluation form by email. You will be asked to complete this form and return it to us by email. Once the contact hours are calculated, you will receive a certificate of completion. So you will earn the contact hours in exchange for tracking your time and providing detailed feedback.

Others will be added to a list to review future courses. If selected, you will receive an email message from Megan with the information about when the course will be ready for review and how to access the course online. It will be available from any computer at any time, so you can arrange to take the course when it is convenient for you.
