We are looking for appropriate device selection tools/algorythms for a NICU population. The algorythm or tool would recommend the appropriate vascular access device for this patient population based on type and duration of therapy and any other applicable factors.

I don't think the NICU population is any different that other patients in regard to choosing the appropriate device for infusion therapy. The same considerations would apply. However, you may have the additional options of umbilical vessels during the first week of life.
