Lots of studies on Bundles for CVAD maintenance. The insertion bundle has been in use and proven to reduce CLABSI for more than 10 years. There is agreement on components of insertion bundle, but the studies on maintanence bundles do not have the same components of each bundle. I don't remembr what these studies included about daily review. Really, a maintenance bundle does not meet the true definition of a bundle. Rather it is a checklist.
