Occluded PICC's
We have noticed a big increase in both our home care population and hospital patients with Dual Lumen Groshong PICC's becoming clotted.  Has anyone else experienced this?  Not sure if it could be the end cap we are using,(which is the blue clave connector) ??

What flushing technique are
What flushing technique are you teaching your patients to use. Clave is a negative displacement device so they must be using a positive pressure flushing technique. Lynn
