Currently, my vascular access team has been doing pediatric broviac repairs. We are revisiting this process.
I wanted to know who does Broviac repairs in your hospital (ex. IR, Surgical Resident, or IV team).

Hi, About 5 years ago the surgical department requested the IV team at our hospital do repairs We can do them in a more timely manner too and has been sucessful
Our Vascular Access Team nurses the only ones trained to do these repairs in our pediatric hospital. Our team is in-house 24/7 and for holidays we take call to cover for these situations that may arise.
