The facility I work at is currently building a new area for pediatrics/neonates and womens health. In doing so, we are looking at the possibilities of inserting PICCs for the pediatric and neonatal population. In preparation for budget (due this week) we need to find what speciality equipment will be neded. We have the SiteRite V and will be trialing the sherlock this week. Besides the having the correct sized catheter, what else will we need?  (Of course when the time comes closer, we will go for training with this population.)
