Daily assessment for central line neccessity is a CLABSI prevention strategy that my organization endorses. Although the practice is considered "performed" we have no formal guidelines deligating responsibility or accountability. We use EPIC electronic medical records. My question is for other EPIC users: Who documents daily line neccessity and where or how is it documented? Are you able to generate a daily report?
