For IV administration, there is no need to mix these 2 drugs together for IV push. Each drug should be prepared in a separate syringe for safety purposes and correct administraiotn of each drug. It is not the same thing as needed to put 2 drugs together to allow only one stick for IM administration. See this new document from ISMP
