Hey, Our census runs between 100-140 patients at my hospital( inpatient medsurg,ICU,etc). We have initiated a PICC team over 2years ago, all the team members have full time jobs at the hospital and take PICC call on each individual day off. I feel we are a big enough facility to have a full time PICC team, and we are just not doing enough PICCS.If anyone is from a similar size hospital could you let me know on average how many are done a month??
