I had heard at one time that a certification was being developed to help those of us that work on an IV team with primary responsibilities of picc placement and care. Seems that the CRNI covers alot of nice material that some of us seldom use. Is there a national certification that is more specific in focus?Â
The website does not speak to the progress being made. I did contact AVA directly and was told that this is in the final stages and should be completed within the next few months. YEAH!
I was told to check the website in the Spring.
