assessing PIV sites with vasopressors infusing

I am interested in what theÂ frequency should be of assessing PIV sites that have vasopressors infusing. Is every four hours often enough? And does anyone know a resource that will reference that. Thanks.

Vasopressors like Dopamine

Vasopressors like Dopamine should not be going through PIV, it requires a central line. Most pressors need to be infused through central line.
