A Unique Webinar Event—Caring for the Patient with an Intraosseous (IO) Infusion Device
This program will provide a review of the history of IO, the new technology used for insertion, relevant research and resulting changes to standards of care and guidelines. The attendee will be guided through the identification of anatomy, indications and contraindications for use, as well as the care and maintenance practices associated with an intraosseous infusion. Discussion of where IO fits into vascular algorithms as both a bridge to long term access and an immediate solution for patients will be shared.
