In my humble opinion, practice exams are fun, but they aren't a great way to prepare for exams. Study guides provide a far greater amount of information that you divide and digest over time. Doing well on a practice exam simply means you knew (or didn't know) what was addressed by the selected questions. The big three: Alexander's Infusion Nursing, Phillip's Manual of Infusion Therapy and Plumer's Infusion Therapy are super references that will definitely prepare you for the exam. Good luck!

I took the exam in December. There is a study guide. If your local hospital has a medical library, perhaps they have a copy. I found that many of answers to the questions were found in the CDC Guidelines. I think the guidelines were from 2011 or 2012. Good luck :)
